Welcome to Arashi Forge
A small workshop, based on the North Devon coast in England. Specialising in hand-forged kitchen knives, blacksmithing & fine jewellery.

Set in the valley of Lee Bay, I work using traditional and modern techniques to create unique, beautiful and functional tools serving a variety of crafts. This also includes homeware, precious jewellery, heirloom woodwork and functional, lasting leatherwork.

I use a clean burning charcoal Japanese style sword forge, UK sourced hardwoods and high quality metals to create most of my work, as well as utilising reclaimed materials & recycled, ethically sourced precious metals.

The work shown here comprises of Kitchen knives, bush-craft tools, woodwork, leatherwork, fine silver & gold jewellery, and blacksmithing. I also accept orders for custom work and run blacksmithing courses, feel free to contact me with any ideas or projects you have.

Bladesmithing & Jewellery courses
As well as creating my own work, I offer courses for you to learn how to forge your very own knife, or very own piece of silver jewellery. These are run on a one to one basis and you can either learn to work carbon steel in a charcoal sword forge, or spend some time carefully shaping and hammering precious metals into your very own, handcrafted piece of jewellery.
