A UK based forge offering hand made kitchen knives, blacksmithing, jewellery, leather and more.
My bladesmithing is done using a blend of traditional and modern techniques, using hand power, in a clean burning, hand powered Japanese-style charcoal sword forge, with UK sourced hardwood handles and carefully selected carbon steel metals. I create unique, beautiful and functional tools serving the kitchen or outdoors, for all skill levels and costs. Everything made here is done so with the care it deserves, to ensure it lasts.
Working small scare, it is important to me that handcrafted tools remain affordable, with care put into every step of the process. But if you don’t find anything you like here, then why not learn to forge your own knife, try blacksmithing, or handmade a silver ring in one of my one to one courses.
As well as my forging and jewellery, I offer custom knife making, sharpening services, repairs and restoration of western and Japanese knives. As well as high quality handcrafted leather, handmade tools, and unique silver and gold Jewellery.

Pricing for a custom blade does vary, generally between £180-£400. This does depend on size & materials. I understand that sometimes keeping to a budget is necessary so I try to keep this cost as low as possible. But the end result is a knife that will last a lifetime.
Bladesmithing & Jewellery courses
As well as creating my own work, I offer my skills for you to learn how to forge your very own knife, try blacksmithing, or craft your very own piece of silver jewellery. My courses are run on a one to one basis with some exceptions, offering you my undivided attention, where you can either learn to work carbon steel in a traditional, hand powered charcoal sword forge, or spend some time carefully shaping and hammering precious metals into your very own, handcrafted piece of jewellery.
