Bushcraft knives a gogo

Second set of bushcraft knives went well, scaled western handles are more fiddly that the Japanese style. But they do give a very solid, reliable part to the knife that you can rely on.

In truth, three bolts and a strong epoxy is probably overkill on something like a knife, the wood would crumble around this joint before it gives up. A big downside, in comparison to a Japanese handle is also replacement, if for any reason you wanted to do this it would be major work. But it is also a standard western process in terms of handles.

I do enjoy making these though, its a very different process that I look forward to refining
