Handforged high carbon 26c3 monosteel knife.
'Home grown' magnolia handle with blackwood ferrule, solid wood with a comfortable octagonal shape that allows for a variety of secure grips. Made with traditional wa handle, weight sits just in front of the ferrule to allow the knife to tip away from you.
A simple, elegant shape that is versatile but more suited to a skilled hand that can make the most of the elongated blade and low profile.
Suited to fish, and boneless protein prep, as well as detailed veg and fruit work. Not for deboning.
It is a carbon steel blade, so over time will develop its own unique patina and colouring, this is normal, and reflects your cooking habits. It will require some basic care.
